my girl Jules helped me design my little dude’s nursery and I wanted to share some of it. it was a bit of a whirlwind as we got notice right before my due date that we have to move out of our rental (only a few days after painting the nursery). We had to put the nursery design on hold until after Clay arrived and we made our move. I really wanted to make his room a calm sanctuary with neutral tones & meaningful items from our travels and talented friends. You can read more about his room on Jule’s blog as well as the feature on 100 Layer Cakelet.

my good friend Jes in Australia makes the best hand dyed & printed bed linens… and this saying is just too perfect for this time in our lives.
love Jules idea to layer the rugs… the bottom one is from my trip to Turkey and the top is washable from Lorena Canals — and it’s pug approved! :)
a framed photo of our campervan that we’ve taken all over the west coast and love how easy it is to access our parasol diapers in this basket
this plant stand was one of my favorite baby gifts, vintage rattan from Bohemian General
We framed this image of mine of two horses… it’s one of my favorite shots. Dusty from Rael Made created this frame for it.
my super talented friend Renata made this wall hanging for Clay’s room… we are obsessed!
we found this credenza on craigslist and my husband refinished and painted white… it works so well with this changing basket.
